Mission Statement
Our Founders – Dedicated to the Individual
We are founded on the principle that if you help a child grow and learn, then you improve the community that you live in. Jeff and Casherie Bright have dedicated their life to helping children and improving the community. The organization began unofficially in 2002 when Jeff and Casherie dedicated numerous volunteer hours to the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salt Lake, the American Cancer Society, and encouraging wellness through marketing nutritional foods and supplements through Master Health, LLC.
Jeff and Casherie officially formed Neurofeedback and Counseling of Utah in 2009 and started serving people with mental health needs in 2010. Read more about Jeff’s story here.
When the business was formed, the Brights wanted to provide thorough wellness services by individualizing and personalizing it to the community. They strayed away from the traditional ideas to “just” help people; instead they wanted to individualize services to optimize effective treatment.
Jeff says, “It’s all about the person. If the person doesn’t feel comfortable coming to an office for mental health services, then we have options available for them to have the service in their home. We want the client to feel comfortable and believe in individualizing the service to meet their needs.”
Neurofeedback and Counseling of Utah continues to support the community in various community service projects and through charitable donations. Jeff and Casherie enjoy volunteering for the local community food co-op and attend annual fundraisers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah and the Utah Youth Village. In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Jeff has presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of neurofeedback and trauma treatment. Jeff is also a medical crisis worker for Davis Hospital.
