Why seek non-medical counseling?
Non-medical counseling is aimed at addressing many problems such as stress management, marital or relationship problems, career issues, parenting, and grief and loss in a confidential manner. Being married to or connected with an active duty service member comes with unique challenges. Casherie has been working with military dependents since moving to Germany and knows how to support people through those challenges. No health documents are maintained and no mental health diagnosis’ are made when receiving non-medical counseling.
Americans living in Germany seek support from Casherie because of her clinical skills, professionalism, and understanding of challenges while living overseas.
Casherie is able to provide short-term, solution-focused counseling for common personal and family issues that do not warrant medical or behavioral health interventions. She can also provide counseling for life situations that are more challenging and require more support to work through.
