Bree was born in California and spent her childhood there before moving to Eastern Oregon where shespent her teen years. She moved to Utah in 2008. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a minor in family studies from Weber State University. She attended Boise State University where she earned her MSW (Master of Social Work). She is a licensed clinical social worker.
Bree has always been interested in helping others. She spent many of her teen years planning to be a nurse and shadowing at the hospital. It was not until she took an introduction to social work class when she realized she had found the field she wanted to pursue. She has worked in a residential treatment
setting for teen girls, the domestic violence shelter, and the crisis recovery unit. She also currently works at McKay Dee in crisis/behavior unit.
Bree has extensive experience in crisis intervention. She works well with those who are experiencing suicidal thoughts, psychosis, or intense anxiety. She can come up with plans for treatment whether it is outpatient or inpatient treatment. She enjoys working with those who are experiencing situational depression or anxiety. Bree often will use CBT, solution focused, strengths based, narrative therapy, and psychoeducation with those she is working with. She works well with all ages.
Bree is married with three children: all girls. She has two dogs and a cat. You can often find her with her family and friends, camping, reading, or watching movies.
