Emily Hall works to share information with the community about the valuable services provided by NeuroTherapy and Trauma Center of Utah. She enjoys updating this web site and social media networks, creating print and digital newsletters, spreading the word about free workshops and interacting with and learning from the knowledgeable team of therapists.
Emily was born in Provo, Utah, and lived in Massachusetts, Oregon and Florida while growing up. She graduated from West Orange High School near Orlando, Florida, and loved living in the magical shadow of Disney World. She holds a BA in English from Brigham Young University. She has worked in publishing and marketing and especially enjoyed running the web sites for Creating Keepsakes scrapbook magazine, Simple Scrapbooks magazine and Paper Crafts magazine.
She met her husband while living in Orem, Utah, and they had the unique opportunity to live in England and South Korea before settling in Syracuse, Utah. They traveled to many awesome locations in Europe and Asia, including London, Dublin, Edinborough, Paris, Rome, Seoul, the DMZ, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Her claim to fame used to be that she had visited every Disney park in the world. And then they built the Disney park in Shanghai after she moved back to Utah. (Doh!)
She has two energetic children (ages 5 and 8). Besides running kids around and trying to teach them to clean up after themselves (a futile task, sigh), Emily also enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, watching her husband cross the finish line for ultra-marathons, learning, learning, learning, real estate, baking and family bike rides.
If you would like to have a therapist speak to your group or are interested in partnering with NeuroTherapy and Trauma Center of Utah, please contact Emily.
(Emily recently started neurofeedback and is thrilled to notice that after just a few sessions, she feels more calm even in stressful situations. She will write more about her experience after completing more sessions!)
