Brain-Based Mental Health Counseling in Utah

We are mental health professionals certified to use a brain-based approach to healing. We incorporate counseling with neuroscience for individualized, highly effective treatment. Before starting treatment, our clients start with a brain-map with the focus of healing the mind and body. We work with children and adults. Call us at 801-855-7999. Our office is located in Clearfield near Ogden, Utah.

We help people who are:

  • Frustrated
  • Hopeless
  • Worn out
  • Wanting more for their mental health

Using the latest in neuroscience, we help you (or your child):

  • Balance emotions
  • Improve behavior
  • Increase focus
  • Decrease anxiety

Individual mental health therapy isn’t just about talking with a person in an office, online, or over the phone. It’s about providing overall wellness to the individual’s sense of purpose, beliefs, and values. Mental health services are individualized to the person, making it possible for the biggest change to occur.

Change doesn’t happen with just talk therapy; change occurs when the whole person is helped through healthy activities, healthy eating, healthy goal setting, and establishing healthy beliefs. Change can be made through techniques in cognitive behavioral therapy “CBT”, experiential and recreational therapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming “NLP”, or through neurofeedback brain training. Our 3-tier approach includes counseling, neurofeedback and sensory integration.

Clients report they are able to cope with depression and anxiety from the relaxation techniques they learn. They can focus more and get things accomplished.

Parents tell us their child is behaving better in school and arguments with parents and siblings are decreased. Their home is more peaceful. Their child is able to control their emotions better at home. Teachers report fewer behavior problems in the classroom, more cooperation with other students, better organization and staying on task, more completion of homework and improved academic performance on tests and assignments.
